Dylusions Pumpkin Parade

Welcome to our Dylusions Creative Pumpkins.. who said you need a traditional pumpkin to make Halloween hey??!

Here in the large Dylusions journal for the background we have used Crushed Grape & Black Marble  Ink Sprays. Stamped the large leaf stamp using the Black Marble Dyary Ink Pad & used the 'faux bleaching technique' to remove ink from the leaves.

To create the pumpkin We have used the wings, feather and tentacle stamps from the Dylusions Flight of Fancy stamp set. Coloured in using ink sprays; Pure Sunshine, Squeezed Orange and Tangerine Dream. The stalk is coloured in using Fresh Lime, Dirty Martini and Melted Chocolate.

The background is made using Crushed Grape, Calypso Teal and After Midnight Ink Sprays. The stencil used is Stained Glass, painted with After Midnight and Calypso Teal Paint.
We have used the Mermaid Tails from the Dylusions stamp set 'Plenty More Fish in The Sea'. The stalk is from the stamp set - Flight of Fancy. The characters are from older Dylusions stamp sets Monster Mash and Mischievous Malcolm.

In the Dylusions Large Flip Journal we have decorated the background using the New Dylusions Paints, Vanilla Custard, Periwinkle Blue and Mushy Peas. The stencils used are, Diamond in the Rough, Old School Alpha, Squares and Fresh Dots.

New Dylusions Ink Sprays

Six new colours have been added to the Dylusions palette. Dylusions Ink Sprays are high quality concentrated colourants for porous surfaces. Combine warm or cool tones to create colourful backgrounds in your Creative Journals and mixed media projects.

The Warms
- Rose Quartz
- Peony Blush
- Laidback Lilac

The Cools
- Vanilla Custard
- Mushy Peas
- Periwinkle Blue

Here in the Dylusions Large Flip Journal we have used the Warm Ink Sprays together - Peony Blush, Rose Quartz and Laidback Lilac. On the second page we have used the Cool Ink Sprays -  Vanilla Custard, Mushy Peas and Periwinkle Blue.

Next we have done the Ghosting technique, where we have taken the stencils and lightly spritzed over with the water spray. The stencils we have used are Large Cobwebs, Large old school Alpha and Raindrops.

These are the reverse of the above sheets.

Here we have decorated a Manilla tag using the New Dylusions Ink Sprays Peony Blush, Vanilla Custard and Rose Quartz. We have then stamped onto the background in Black Archival ink and used the 'bleaching technique' where we have added water using a water brush to the bubbles and the octapus which has lifted some of the ink. The stamped images has been coloured in using the Dylusions Ink Sprays and a water brush.

Here we have taken a Manilla Square Journal insert page and done what we call a 'mop up page' where we have used the excess ink from a previous tag/page and wiped the journal insert over the left over ink. The New Dylusions Ink Sprays used here are Laid-back Lilac and Rose Quartz. The stamps have been coloured in using Dylusions Ink Sprays and a water brush.

On a Manilla tag we have used the new Dylusions Ink Sprays vanilla Custard, Mushy Peas and Periwinkle blue. Again we have then stamped the flowers onto the background and done the bleached technique. The stamps have been coloured using the Dylusions Ink Sprays.

Here we have used the New Dylusions Ink Spays; Vanilla Custard, Peony Blush and Rose Quartz on a Manilla tag. Next we have stencilled over the top using the Stained Glass stencil and Vanilla Custard Paint. The Stamps have been coloured in using Dylusions Ink Sprays and a water brush.

Here we have used the New Dylusions Ink Sprays Rose Quartz, Peony Blush and Laidback Lilac. Then stamped over the top using the New Stamp and Stencil Set - Leaf. Using a water brush we have done the bleached technique on the leaves.

Next is a 'Mop up' tag using the New Dylusions Ink Sprays Mushy Peas, Vanilla Custard and Periwinkle Blue. The stampS have been coloured in using dylusions Ink Sprays and a brush.

Again we have made a 'Mop Up' tag using the New Dylusions ink Sprays Laid-back Lilac and Rose Quartz. We have then used the stamp from the New Stamp and Stencil set Brickwork. The stamps have been coloured in using the Dylusions Ink Sprays and a brush.

Here is a 'Mop up' page using left over ink from the New Dylusions Ink Sprays Peony Blush and Vanilla Custard. The Stamped images have been bleached out using a water brush and then coloured in using Dylusions Ink Sprays and a brush.

Here is a 'Mop up' tag made using left over ink from the New Dylusions Rose Quartz and Vanilla Custard. The stamps have been coloured in using Dylusions inks and a brush. The doodles have been drawn using the Dylusions Black Paint Pen.
